When you think of stoner what's the first thing you think about? Marijuana of course, other names include bud, pot, weed, mary jane, grass etc. Stoners have been around for years, decades in fact but, being one has never been as fully accepted as it is now opposed to how it used to be. Sure, there were the classic stoners back in the day. Cheech and chong, Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix just to name a few, they shared their love for weed with their fans but it wasn't as "approved" as it is today in society. Thanks to the some entertainers marijuana has became more of  trend eventually turning it into a lifestyle. Snoop dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Kid Cudi, and Lil Wayne are definitely todays stoners, or as I like to call them " Modern day hippies" Smoking for them is a lifestlye for them not a fad, just like the OG stoners and hippies. Wiz reportedly spends 10 stacks a month (probably more now) on his medicine and even though Kid Cudi has recently stopped smoking the good ol' herb I will always still consider him a stoner.  Legend to the rap game and marijuana lifestyle Snoop Dogg has always been an advocate for the stoner life. Lil Wayne has never been shy or coi about his marijuana usage, he's been in legal trouble for it. Nevertheless, all stoners, known or unknown all have similarities, past or present. It's still not legal, except in 16 states. Hopefully one day that will all change, and it'll be legal and FULLY accepted in all 50 states. But, intill then it will remain a constant tug o' war and in a way an underground world that is slowly climbing it's way up and something that I'm very proud to be apart of .
